About Electron
Blade Electric Vehicles (BEV) remanufactures the Hyundai Getz to electric drive for government, business and private use.
In 2009 BEV obtained its license through DOTARS as an automotive development and production company for 2nd stage automotive manufacture. As such the Electron can be registered in every state of Australia.
BEV is also a member of the Australian Technology Showcase and a recipient of various grants from the Victorian and Federal governments to further develop its design and technology.
As a result of sound research and engineering BEV is now an exporter of electric cars and electric car technology to overseas markets. BEV has been assisted through various Commonwealth and Victorian State government grants.
